Internet and e-mail Use Policy

Although the Internet is a free medium, there are a few things to keep in mind to become a good net-citizen.

1) Ensure that your computer is free of viruses. e-mail messages with virus-infected attachments can cause irreversible damage to the recipient's computer. Don't let your computer become propagator of viruses.

2) Don't send junk email to mailing lists without asking the permission of the list master. It is good to note that some people see advertisements as junk mail.

3) Use passwords, backups and other sound security measures to protect your computer and your data. Doing so has the added benefit of making your computer more immune to hacker attacks.
